"I’d been living in my house for twelve years during which time it had been extended, refurbished and redecorated several times but never looked ‘right’, even with the involvement of three previous interior decorators. Part of the problem was me – I am extremely ‘unvisual’ and therefore unable to explain properly what it is that I like although, of course, I know it when I see it! The net effect of this was that the house was a mish-mash of styles and colours ranging from inoffensive at best to bizarre at worst. Louise changed all that. One of her great strengths is that she has an awareness of space and scale and is able to not only see how a space might be used but also, crucially in my case, is able to explain how different spaces work together. The result of this is that I now have a house in which rooms form part of a cohesive whole without ever feeling samey. Louise has given me a home that I love. She offered a complete turn-key package. When I moved back into the house, everything was in place, down to the flowers in the vases, the towels in the bathrooms and the wooden spoons in the kitchen, all of which she chose. She also rearranged my existing furnishings, paintings and accessories and reintroduced me to pieces I either didn’t know I had or which had been overlooked because I’d put them in the wrong places. Throughout the entire process, Louise was calm, reassuring and the consummate professional. She assembled and oversaw a team of capable and highly professional sub-contractors, and made the job easy and completely stress-free for me. I now have a wonderful home and that’s all down to Louise. I can neither thank nor recommend her too highly."
