THE PROJECT
1920’s mansion house requiring a full and sensitive renovation in order to preserve the existing 1920’s fixtures and features. This included the restoration of the old servants quarters and service bells system, oak panelling, parquet flooring, solid oak doors, plaster cornicing and fireplaces.
The entire house required a new electrical and plumbing system once the asbestos had been safely removed. The overall internal layout and flow of the house was significantly changed to reflect the family needs. This included for a large master bedroom suite with dressing rooms and luxury master en-suite bathroom, a kitchen relocation, library, home offices as well as adding a pool house extension and outdoor swimming pool.
In 2018 we converted the loft providing a luxury guest suite and teen hang out den and extended to the side above the laundry and boot room creating a sixth luxury bedroom with en-suite.
This project is ongoing and will include a glazed gymnasium extension, renovation of the existing garden Orangery and further landscaping developments to the 11 acre estate.
